OUR MISSION
At Design Haven, we believe it is never too early to craft an entrepreneur mindset. That said, we have created an interactive internship/bootcamp that empower young people from all across the country discover their inner CEO. This program can be customized to a virtual or in-person hybrid format.

OUR GOALS
With every youth empowerment program Design Haven develops, we carry the following four overarching goals:
1. Strategically serve youth from underserved communities in hopes assisting with the closure of the achievement gap.
2. Introducing young people to the world of business & industry by providing practical steps on how they can involved now.
3. Inspiring participants through session interactions with corporate professionals from diverse backgrounds.
4. Providing access to a network of committed and dedicated mentors willing to give guidance to both program participants and parents.
Our credo is to reach one, teach one.

OUR TEAM
Porche Maloney (third photo from left) serves as the program Professional
Development Coach. She is an Early Career HR Professional for a Fortune 500 company and holds an HR Masters degree and an online teaching certificate from Penn State University partner with a Level 1 & 2 mentor certification from the College of Reading & Learning Association. Her vocation is to inspire the youth to be all they can be.
She is assisted by (photo left to right) Desne Wharton, Natalia Rojas Valois & Deme Wharton. All of which are also certified Mentors.
